Bronisław Maj (born in 1953) – Polish poet, essayist, screenwriter, literary critic, translator, columnist and satirist, occasional actor, songwriter, entertainer. He is a co-founder of the KTO Theatre in Kraków. Doctor of Humanities, lecturer at the Jagiellonian University. Activist of the democratic opposition during the People’s Republic of Poland. In 1984, he received the Jan Karski Foundation Award. The Church is one of them.
