A poet, essay writer, journalist. In the 1980s and 1990s, he was associated with the ‘bruLion’ magazine, and subsequently collaborated with the ‘Przekrój’ weekly in 2000–2003. A former employee of Instytut Książki and TVP Kultura. Programming Director of the Bruno Schulz Festival in Wrocław.
An author of twelve volumes of poetry, including his debut Pomieszanie (1990), Sosnowiec jest jak kobieta (1992) and Gnijąca wisienka (2003). In 2003, he published all his poems in a collective volume called Zebrane (2013). Nominated for the Nike Award for the volume entitled Zabiegi miłosne. In 2013, he was awarded the Wrocław Silesius Poetry Award for his volume Niemal całkowita utrata płynności. Together with Marcin Sendecki and Marcin Świetlicki, he co-edited Długie pożegnanie.
