Różycki was born in 1970 in Opole, where he lives to this day. He studied Romance Languages at the Jagiellonian University (Krakow). He is a poet, translator and essayist. He won the Kościelski Prize for his epic poem Twelve Stations, spurring the revitalization of what had seemed a historical genre in the Polish language. He has published eight volumes of poetry.

He has translated Arthur Rimbaud and Stephane Mallarmé, among others. His own work has been translated into Spanish, French, English, Bulgarian, German, Lithuanian, Russian, Slovenian, and Ukrainian, and has been published in anthologies and magazines.
