Sigtryggur Baldursson now runs the Iceland Music Export office and makes a television show called Hljómskálinn about music in Iceland. Outside of Iceland he is best known for his work with an 80´s band called the Sugarcubes, and more recently with Emiliana Torrini.
His current projects include the percussion ensamble Parabolur that utilizes telecommunications satellite covers. He regularly plays percussion with various Icelandic artists and sometimes sings with his calypso band Bogomil Font. Recently he scored some strange music for film and theater and occasionally makes short films like Fencing.
