Assistant Professor at the Chair in Literary Culture of Eastern Borderlands and Head of the Centre for Lithuanian Studies at the Faculty of Polish Studies of the Jagiellonian University. Historian of Polish and Lithuanian literature, translator of works in the Lithuanian language. She conducts comparative research on the Polish-Lithuanian borderland in the 19th and 20th centuries, the links between the work of Czesław Miłosz and Lithuanian writers in exile and the work of Tomas Venclova. She also takes an academic interest in historical poetics, especially Polish, Lithuanian and Russian versification in the 19th and 20th centuries, as well as in the theory and practice of literary translation. Author of the monograph Wyrwa w świecie. Przekład literacki w radzieckiej Litwie – casus Tomasa Venclovy i rówieśników (2019) and Rozdroże. Literatura polska w kręgu litewskiego odrodzenia narodowego (2016), a script – Lithuanian literature chrestomathy Widziałem świat (2014), as well as minor literary studies academic works in Polish and Lithuanian Studies, co-author of a three-volume selection of journalistic articles W kręgu sporów polsko-litewskich na przełomie XIX i XX wieku (2004-2011). She translates mainly academic works in the field of humanities (including M. Kvietkauskas, Polifonia literatury w Wilnie okresu wczesnego modernizmu 1904-1915 (2012), E. Aleksandravičius, A. Kulakauskas, Pod władzą carów. Litwa w XIX wieku (2003) and contemporary literature (including poetry by Tomas Venclova, Alfonsas Nyka-Niliūnas, Judith Vaičiūnaitė, prose by Antanas Škėma and aphorisms by Leonidas Donskis).
